Corporate Credit Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Credit Analyst to join our finance and customer accounts team.

Duties

  • Review and evaluate new and existing customer credit applications.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, trade references, and payment histories.
  • Determine creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively communicate on past-due accounts.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to resolve credit or billing issues.
  • Establish credit holds, risk mitigation strategies, and policy improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of credit decisions and customer financial data.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable and credit functions.
  • Create and send collection notices, review account records to identify overdue balances, and professionally engage with customers to resolve outstanding payments.
  • Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
  • Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or accounts receivable
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel required

Preferred Skills

  • Power BI
  • MS Dynamics
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems common in aviation or manufacturing
  • Knowledge of aviation industry billing, documentation, or customer account structures
